  • Since taking Pilates with Michelle everything about my movement has improved. This was my first time taking Pilates and I was hooked after the first week. I encouraged my husband to join and we go three times a week. Michelle is an excellent teacher, she is so knowledgeable and makes class fun. She has a wonderful sense of humor and provides us with a class that stretches our bodies and challenges us to be better. I am in my 70's and in a class with wide range of ages and skills and somehow Michelle makes us all feel that the class was designed for us.

  • I started working with Michelle 3 years ago while recovering from shoulder surgery and a spine injury. Thanks to targeted exercises, I now have full range of motion in my shoulder. I have also gained increasing spinal flexibility, core strength and a mental focus that is paramount for an active and engaged island lifestyle.

  • I watched my wife bike-off to Pilates classes for months. I finally relented to her appeals to join her. One of my better decisions. I can now easily exit my body out of our hot tub and much more adroitly navigate up and down ladders to paint. Can't recommend these classes highly enough!

  • I started practicing Pilates with Michelle a couple of years ago as cross-training to running and to improve my overall fitness. My Pilates practice has strengthened my core and improved balance and flexibility.

    Michelle is aware of her students limitations and offers variations for each exercise tailoring workout to accommodate their quirks and injuries. She changes the workouts so they are never boring and repetitive. I can do exercises now, two years in, that I never dreamed I would be able to do.

  • I started attending outdoor classes at Lion’s club two summers ago. What a great way to start the day and a fantastic way to enjoy the beauty of Peaks while doing something good for my body. This summer, I began taking private Pilates classes, which allowed Michelle to provide a custom, fun, and targeted workout that has improved my flexibility, balance, and strength. As a result of our sessions, I certainly feel fewer aches and pains and seem in better shape than I have since before the pandemic. Michelle is fun to be with, extremely skilled at what she does, keeps our workouts varied and interesting, and is always careful not to generate any injury or pain.

  • My husband and I started taking Pilates classes a few years ago with Michelle and although we really enjoyed the classes and beautiful outdoor setting, we decided to begin private sessions, and boy are we glad we did. Michele makes sure the sessions are meaningful, focused on our bodies specifically, and fun. Michele is highly attentive and is constantly tweaking the exercises, so we get the most out of our time together. The results say it all. I just had a body scan, my osteoporosis has diminished. My rheumatologist says that adding Pilates to my exercise routine has greatly contributed to the improvement. All this with the fact that Michelle is just a delight.
